Photography has always been a source of inspiration for Kate Tova. Most of the photographs below are taken in her hometown Balakovo, Russia and the featured subjects are her friends.
“I didn’t come from money so when my parents heard about my dream to have a camera, they took out a loan. I started doing paid photoshoots and paintings when I was 13 years old. Photography fueled my painting and gave me a great understanding of light, reflections, composition, and color. It was also a great excuse to go seek adventure” - Tova
